We completed site planning and schematic design of an 8.4 acre mixed use development providing 99 townhouses and 30,000 square feet of office and retail building space. The scope included the completion of rezone applications, preliminary site planning and urban design reviews, and a detailed checklist of environmental impacts.
Our site plan incorporated two basic design concepts - a linear scheme running parallel to the hillside contours and a courtyard scheme extending the proposed retail complex up the hillside. The concepts merge to create a central hill-climb or courtyard connecting a plaza located at the center of the lower level retail area with a central open space located in the upper residential areas. The entire project is connected to downtown by a hillside trail corridor.
The project was recently completed in accordance with our plan and design by another developer under the name Copper Hill.
