We
analyzed staffing trends, existing space and building utilization, building
conditions, existing property capacity, and maximum building/site capacity to
accommodate 20-year growth requirements for all city hall departments for the
Puyallup City Manager.
The
original city hall was no longer functional or recyclable, and had been
demolished to make way for a mixed use senior center and housing project. This
analysis was commissioned to determine the functional requirements of city hall
departments, adjacency objectives, and special area needs with which to issue an
competitive design/develop RFP for a new facility to be located within the
downtown area across from the city's principal park.
Our
analysis provided the functional requirements and planning criteria the city
used to successfully conduct an RFP process and procure the new building's
development.
