Using a series of organization surveys, design charrettes, and workshops, our process determined long range functional space requirements, adjacencies, exhibit and use potentials, design concepts, cost estimates, and phasing/funding strategies for a mixed use museum, cultural arts center, and meeting facility.
Our resulting plan created a 2-story facility incorporating a coffee shop and art sales,
meeting facility, and cultural arts center and studio on the upper floor, and museum with
atrium covered exhibits on the lower floor. The interior atrium faces onto the
exhibits with an axial view of Gig Harbor and adjacent historic sites.
