The scope included existing conditions assessments, functional program of requirements,
site plan alternatives, vendor stall awning concepts, and street furnishing schemes
with detailed cost and phasing strategies for short and long range development of
the successful Farmers' Market operation on historic Railroad Avenue.
The design process extensively surveyed market vendor and customers to determine
stall requirements and pricing strategies, customer profiles, behaviors, and preferences.
Design concepts were developed during a series of market based charrettes.
